Papoose

In case you missed the link in my last post, I want to introduce to you my new website for Papoose, www.papoosenantucket.com.

I am really excited about this site, not only because it’s an important step towards getting the funding necessary to get Papoose off the ground, but also because I built (coded!) the site myself.  In addition to the main website, I set up a blogand created a Facebook page.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would visit the site and come back here to let me know what you think.  Does it provide all of the necessary information you would want to know?  How does it look and work?

  1. Hi Amber,

I’ve been reading your blog for awhile and wish you good luck with your business. Since you asked, I have two suggestions for your website. The first page’s picture should be a bit smaller so that the whole picture can fit without the viewer having to scroll down. On my browser (firefox), I can’t see the whole picture. The second thing: I understand that there should be a lot of explanations and text considering your type of business, but the first page should be cleaner and lack paragraphs (IMHO). So, on the right of the picture, I suggest either bullets or a few quick lines (less than 4) welcoming people to your site and pointing them in the right direction (to your tabs).

I hope this was helpful. I have my own (smaller) business website and if you have any tips yourself, feel free. (www.englishwithsarah.com)

    1. Thanks for reading my blog, Sarah, and for the feedback! It’s good to know about scrolling. I have a rather big monitor, so I hadn’t thought about that…

  2. I love the name you chose Amber, I hope this works out for you. Love Mim
