This morning was a bright-and-early for both Chris and me. He to one of his last days working in American Bounty, and I went to the farm at 6 am for work hours. I picked snap peas for two hours, cleaned the eyes off of potatoes, helped set up the tables for distribution, and washed eggs. I feel so productive; and check out our beautiful share this week!

[JPG]Rhubarb, radishes, beets, rosemary, sage, mint, parsley, cilantro, potatoes, scallions, snap peas, garlic scapes, cooking greens, green lettuce, red lettuce, cabbage, tat soy, and raspberries. Yum!

And the count down says: only 58 days to go until baby’s due date! Which means that in a little bit less than two months, we’re going to meet our little guy or girl (or I’m going to be very miserable…). At my doctor’s visit yesterday, I learned that I’ve gained 3 more lbs (up to a whopping 149). I laughed with the nurse, because next time, she’s going to have to slide the bottom weight over to 150 before she moves the top one. Since we don’t have a scale at home, it’s kind of fun to go see what has changed since my last appointment. The baby is about 3 lbs or so now and according to the books, doing lots of growing. so big, in fact, that I can now see baby move in addition to feeling it.
