Walking around the neighborhood with Z and I'm reliving my first experience with entrepreneurship: @girlscouts cookie sales. My mom was our troop leader (all the way through Juniors) and I remember our garage piled high with boxes and boxes of cookies. It's fun watching Z try her hand at sales. She is fearless and no problem describing every cookie to complete strangers. Despite having never done it before, she has an incredibly aggressive goal of selling 1500 boxes of cookies. If any kid can do it, though, I think she can.

Looking at birth story books with my two littles. I made shutterfly books about all of their births and they are a perennial favorite read in our house. I even catch the big girls reading their books sometimes.

Spent three hours in urgent care (the third we tried visiting today after being turned away from the first two), now waiting in line at the pharmacy. Poor girl has a cold that turned into an ear infection. We're visiting my grandmother in Kansas and having sick kiddos while traveling is no fun. Also I feel like we've been a little jinxed the last few years with kids being sick at Christmas. I feel like someone was under the weather last year. And the year before that we spent Christmas eve picking lice out of their hair and deep cleaning our house. Ah, magical Christmas moments with four children. 😂 🤞Addie's ears feel better tomorrow so that she can enjoy Christmas.

Today, we were invited to the girl's school to take part in a thank you ceremony for State Representative Terry Wilson. He has been advocating for charter schools and charter school funding, so the school presented him with a plaque. Today, Nora shined. Her artwork was the artwork selected out of all the student submissions to be framed on the plaque. Prior to the ceremony, she gave Rep. Wilson a tour of their school orchard, which her class maintains, and she also spoke on behalf of the student body while presenting him with the plaque. She was well-spoken and poised. I couldn't have been more proud.

Two. ♥️♥️ I cannot even express how much my heart explodes with love for our tiniest girl. She really is the the greatest gift we could have asked for to round out our family, and I cannot believe she's going to be two years old tomorrow. Squeeze them tight - it goes by way too fast.
