Strawberry Things

I’m so tempted to post a Wordless Wednesday post, but I feel guilty for neglecting the blog so much that I’m not going to let myself do it.  So instead, I’ll share pictures of pick-your-own strawberries at Bartlett’s Farm and tell you what we’ve been up to the past couple days, which is just about everything from playgroups and leading LLL meetings to publishing two websites, starting new ones, and some graphic design work (like this print ad for The SeaGrille).

I’ve been working hard to clear things off my to-do list because three of my friends are coming out to visit next week.  I’m so excited about having a some girl time and don’t want to spend any of it doing anything other than fun.

Besides work, there’s also been plenty of things to keep us busy as the summer activities start back up and so our days have been packed full.  I’m so glad to live on this island.  I’m thankful everyday for our wonderful community, full of interesting, fun and free(!) events and great friends.

Once Memorial Day weekend passes, you’d be hard pressed to find a day on Nantucket without at least five things to do.  It keeps us happy, engaged, exhausted and sometimes even keeps our tummies filled.

By the way, even if busy-ness might slow blog posts down a bit during the summer, you can still stay up to date on our life 30 miles out to sea of Facebook.  I often share photos and updates on Facebook that don’t make it to the blog and I also link to my portfolio updates, so if you haven’t liked my page yet, you should!
