When I was looking through videos from after Nora’s birthday, I was most struck by the conversations we were having — in fact, it was clear that most of what I recorded during the month of September was just that: conversations with Nora. It was during this time that Nora was obsessed with the Sesame Street Martians, that she started making pretend phone calls, that she started liking to read to me, and that she really became the chatterbox that she is now. I wanted to preserve her talking just the way it was, so this film, with videos from last September, is basically a compilation of conversations with Nora. It’s a little long, but I had a hard time editing things out. Her little voice is just so darn cute.
