Vivienne’s toddler class has been COVID quarantined for about a week and a half. It’s been challenging to say the least as Chris and I juggle work and child care. Last year we opted to hire a nanny rather than send Addie and Vivi to school so we’re behind the curve on figuring this out.
It’s meant a lot of late work nights. But, it’s also been nice to have some extra time with our littlest girl. Today she and I danced and sang, did laundry, read books, colored, and went for a walk through our neighborhood. Then we curled up together on her bed and took a glorious 2 hour nap. It reminded me of the sweet days I used to have with Nora on Nantucket, moving at slow toddler pace.
My business is an exciting challenge but it’s really nice to have mom days sometimes too. ♥️
