Driving into Oregon from the Seattle area took us through some prettiest wooded roads, then across a bridge over the Columbia River right into the heart of Portland. There was no Welcome to Oregon sign to take a picture with as the only sign was a green highway sign in the middle of the bridge, which snuck up on me before I was expecting it. There have been a couple of states without a welcome sign or with a really poorly placed welcome sign that we can’t safely pull off for considering our 38ft trailer and I’ll admit I get a little sad about it. It’s so dorky, but I love to get pictures with the welcome sign if I can.
