Today is Chris and my 12th anniversary, which means we’ve been together for more than 15 years. We don’t typically do much to celebrate our anniversary and we only give each other gifts on the 5 year anniversaries, so it was a pretty low-key day as far as “personal holidays” go. We actually ended up having to do some work to get a jump on the week (yay, business ownership), but we also spent a good chunk of time working out our schedule for the summer which is super exciting.
All the time, I feel so grateful to be married to this man. Not only is he an amazing friend and partner (even if our taste in movies is completely opposite and he needs to have a fan pointed at him every moment of the day), but he’s a phenomenal father, and incredible business partner. He is literally the magic that keeps our business and our life running and on track. And best of all he makes me laugh like no one or anything else can.
15 years of love. 12 years of marriage. 6 cross-country moves. (Soon-to-be) 4 children. 3 years of business ownership. 2 years of travel and lots more adventures to come. I feel so incredibly lucky.
