#30daysofthanks day 8. Last night as I watched the counts roll in, I was incredibly sad and also more than a little mystified. But even through the frustration that I felt, I was reminded of the #gratitude I feel for the right to even participate in the process. 4 years ago, I shared this photo on Facebook on Election Day. I was then and still am thankful to live in a place where I and my daughters are able to have a say in our government. I would have loved to have told them when they woke up this morning that they now had a female president. That did not happen this time, but I know and am hopeful that in their lifetime it will happen. #neverstopbelieving
