One of my Nantucket friends posted this on Facebook today. Three years ago today we left Nantucket. We have now lived off island post-Nantucket for longer than we lived on…I still miss it and all of the amazing people in that community. This photo is of some of our friends standing on Brant Point waving to the ferry we were on. They all showed up with signs to wave us goodbye – after taking care of Nora so we could load the truck, helping us pack, and even cleaning our house. Even after all this time my heart still belongs to ACK. I have lived in 7 states and twice as many cities in my life, and Nantucket is still my favorite.
