- Breech Birth Stories, Stand and Deliver — a great round up of links to breech birth stories, including one from an American living in England who chose a vaginal breech birth at an English hospital rather than a US military hospital. She said, “The secondary miracle is that an OB caught my breech baby. In a hospital. On purpose. As an American, I still can hardly believe it. He cried when I explained how it is in the States and how blessed I felt to have the team of providers that we had with us in that room. […]This was the mainstream medicine approach. We didn’t do anything sneaky or even unconventional. I’m not sure if this means college should be more expensive or if childcare should be cheaper (if it’s even possible to devalue the work of childcare providers more than it already is) — or maybe they should both be free?
