Something I have learned about #foodbudgeting: it never hurts to ask. I always buy my #milk at @therealalbertsons because they have gallons of organic milk for cheaper than two half gallons anywhere in town. Today when I went grocery shopping they were all out of the gallon size of whole milk ( they even looked in the back for me), so I asked if I could buy two half gallons for the price of a gallon and they said yes. Two half gallons would normally cost $6.98 (3.49 each); a gallon costs $5.89, so I saved more than a $1.09 just by asking. Very important considering my #snapchallenge budget!
