Master Bath Before and After

Here’s a before and after (or I guess an after and before) of our tiny master bathroom remodel. Swipe to see some before pictures and also a photo of Zara and Vivi checking out our new shower. This room was the last room that needed to be updated from when we bought the house in 2018. The house previously had a single owner and she had never updated anything since the house was built in 1970. It had original green appliance in the kitchen, gross carpet, and was a major (but fun) project when we first bought it. The master bathroom is only 6ft X 6ft, but it’s bigger than our RV bathroom was and the house before that didn’t have a master bath so it’s definitely an upgrade. We originally didn’t update it when we did the remodel in the main areas because of budget, and let me tell you, the bathroom was gross. The sink was chipped and rusty, there was mold and cracked tile in the shower, and it was super dark and cramped in there. It took us a while to find a contractor with reasonable bid, but we finally got a great recommendation from a friend and I’m super happy with how it turned out. Removing the walls and drop ceiling from the shower made a huge difference! This is one of the cool things to have come out of this year.
