My view this morning, from my dad’s house on Bear Island on #lakewinnepesauke in New Hampshire.
We arrived late last night after a long day of travel with four kids on planes, busses, and a boat. It was an adventure in and of itself that I’m glad we’re not going to do again for two weeks. I’ve been working 7 days/week, frequently 12-16 hours on a project that had a scope overrun and am so ready for a much-needed vacation, though we won’t be completely offline, it will still be a break.
Being here is taking me back to childhood summers spent on this lake with my grandparents and our years living in New York. This part of the country really has my heart. It’s been too long, New England, I’ve missed you. #notatexasgirl
