Halloween this year is not like any other, but we figured out how to make it work. Earlier today we did a socially distant drive-by trick or treating with @sangabrieluuf (where everything was preprepared by people we know from church and the goodies were out in the front yard waiting for the kids – no doorbell ringing necessary) and then we came home for a goofy themed food dinner (swipe to see the brains!!).
We recycled costumes this year which worked out perfectly. Also, since the older girls got to dress up every day for dance they wore different costumes almost every day. I stuck a picture of Zara dressed in exercise clothes like the 80s or early 90s in if you swipe a couple of times – that was my favorite. I love the creativity that can come when you have more restrictions and are forced to come up with something with what you have.
