It’s Chris’ birthday today. Just like every other day he kept things running with the business and our family, making sure everyone got where they needed to go on time and well fed. His dad came over for dinner and while they were out piking up BBQ, Addie and I did manage to surprise him with streamers and party decorations. Also, I decided to cover his cake with 35 candles and accidentally bought relighting candles which turned out be hilarious. We all got a really good laugh out of him trying to blow out that many candles over and over again. I’m laughing now just thinking about it. (Swipe to see his entire cake covered in fire, LOL.)
We watched RBG [the documentary], which was fabulous, and the whole time I thought about how phenomenal her husband was…just like Chris. He holds our whole family together – I don’t know what I’d do without him. Happy birthday, Chris, I love you.
