This week is a huge first for us…we let Chris’ little sister take Nora to her house in Fort Worth for a week of girl time. We’ve been getting photo dispatches from both Nora and her aunt, and I’m surprisingly holding it together.
I still can’t believe that I’m about to have a sixth grader. It seems like only a few years ago she and I were roaming Nantucket shores together, just the two of us, and here she is spending a week in a city hours away. I’m not sure if I want to bawl my eyes out or be incredibly proud of the independent person she is becoming. Probably both, LOL, #momlife is so complicated.
