Happy 4th of July! We were supposed to go out to the lake with Chris’ parents but stayed quarantined in our house instead as I had a tickle in my throat most of the week and an occasional cough (but no other symptoms). I went to get a COVID test on Thursday out of an abundance of caution. it’s not positive and we can go back to normal social distancing instead of uber lockdown. We should know early next week.
In the meantime, we celebrated indepence day by watching Hamilton, getting dressed in red white and blue, introducing the girls to (organic) bomb pops, and watching fireworks on YouTube. It’s definitely not the same, but it works. Hope you had a wonderful day even if it wasn’t how you would normally celebrate.
