Once upon a time, a girl named Amber kept bumping into a boy named Chris at parties and one night asked him if he wanted to go out for a 2 am egg sandwich before going home. 16 years, 6 states, 4 kids, 1 business, and countless egg sandwiches later, I’m so glad he said yes.
This is our 13th year of marriage and it’s not lost in me that my parents were getting divorced at this point. His had already been divorced for years. Every morning I wake up and choose him and every night I’m thankful for another day together. Not always perfect, often with a little person (or 4) keeping us on our toes and a to-do list a mile long, but I couldn’t ask for a better partner to take on the world with. ♥️
