Sewing a Face Mask from Scrap

Last night I sewed myself a face mask from scrap fabric leftover from the outfit I sewed Nora for her second birthday. It’s the first time I have sewed in over a year and it feels like a surreal sewing project, especially given the original intent for this fabric, but it seems like we should do our part to #flattenthecurve. For the most part, Chris has been doing all the shopping so we can keep Vivienne out of stores, but today I had to run errands, so out we went. It seems a little weird to cover my own face and not hers, but of course there’s no way to get a 4 month old to keep a face mask on. I can’t even believe we need to think about such things…what a crazy time we’re in.
