Droning over the Snake River in Idaho – we stayed at River’s Edge RV Park in Wilder, ID and it is one of my favorite RV parks that we have ever stayed in. We don’t usually stay in RV parks if we can avoid them because they’re usually packed close together with RVs on top of one another, noisy, and more function than beauty – not to mention 2-3x the cost. I much prefer state parks if we can get into one. Outside Boise, state parks with hookups for a 38′ trailer was not an option though, so we found River’s Edge and we loved it.
It was really quiet and right on the river which meant lots of swimming for the girls (and Pocket!). We even went out and got a raft so we could paddle around. The Snake River here is very calm – perfect for attempting to try to figure out paddling an inflatable boat with 3 littles. (Not as easy as it might seem, but definitely worth the effort.)
