This past weekend we were boondocking (aka camping with no water/electric hookups for the trailer) in the woods with zero bars of cell service, and it was so nice to totally disconnect. We made campfires and s’mores, swam in one of the clearest lakes I have ever seen, and swung in our hammock in a seemingly endless pine forest. We’re back in cell service now, but taking a few days off to do touristy things with the girls…our first real vacation from work since Thanksgiving.
