We made it! Day 2 of our trip was an epic 15 hour drive. We decided to suck it up and push through to make up for lost time the day before and today we’re all thankful to not have to drive anywhere. By the time we got to the campsite outside of Denver, I was completely beat so I’m just pulling pictures off my camera now. Even with the long drive, we did stop so I could take a picture of the Colorado welcome sign just south of Trinidad, Colorado. Small victories.
We’re in Denver for a week, then headed to Utah. Tomorrow we’re going to trek up to Fort Collins and see a client + some friends. It’ll be nice to be back in one of our many past homes for a bit. Right now we’re just reveling in not having to be in the truck and temperatures in the 70’s.
