I can’t get over how tiny she looks sitting here.
We winterized the trailer. One year ago today, we were moving into it for full time living. We hadn’t sold the Colorado house yet and had realized that living with Chris’ dad wasn’t really working. We knew we were going to buy a trailer for summer travels anyway, so why not buy it now and live in it full time?
Probably it’s way easier to start living in a trailer full time in the summer, not the winter, but we did it, and it worked way better than I thought it would. I loved our tiny house on wheels and it still feels comfortable like an old glove when we’re back in it. That said I am looking forward to a winter without a cold bathroom, 4 minute showers, or accidentally running out of propane (more than once, we’re slow learners ). We might go stay in it once or twice for long weekends at the farm, but for now we’re bidding adieu until spring. . . . .
