“See.”

I’ve been M.I.A. these last few days because I took on some freelance work to try to earn money for Papoose.  I’ve been working from the time Nora goes to bed until midnight every night and if I can squeeze a spare minute in during naps, so I haven’t had much time for anything else…much to my dismay.  The time commitment has given me much food for thought, and led to bigger discussions with Chris that I’ll be sharing later.  For now, though, I wanted to share the joy that is another new word.

“See.”Nora is learning a new word every day.  Cat.  Pip.  Ta (for Mr. T). Sit.  They go on and on, but my favorite is See.  Nora is so into “seeing” things — which really just means putting her face about three inches from whatever she’s interested in.It’s really stinkin’ cute.  We’ve been taking lots of walks latelyand I’ve figured out that I need to plan for twice the amount of time so Nora will be able to inspect every rock, tree, bush,flower, and fire hydrant.You just can’t say “hurry up” when the cutest voice in the world is saying, “That!  See!”
